Despite having a large customer base and a wide range of products, Buckle.com wanted to expand its online presence to reach untapped audiences and new markets. Buckle.com faced the following challenges before the partnership with Bloomclicks:

To achieve this, they sought to leverage affiliate marketing as a key growth mechanism, allowing third-party affiliates to promote their brand and drive traffic and sales to their platform.

Bloomclicks worked with Buckle, Inc. to identify key areas for growth and develop a comprehensive affiliate marketing strategy. This included identifying new affiliates who could drive high-quality traffic and sales and optimizing existing affiliates’ performance.
Targeted Partner Recruitment Based on Data Analysis
Bloomclicks knew strong partner recruitment and activation would be the key to achieving the client’s goals. To support this goal, Bloomclicks’ data-driven platform identified 108 partner opportunities across multiple channels based within the in-house platform. Bloomclicks focused on the top 20 partners. These partners were selected based on their ability to generate high-quality traffic and sales in Buckle.com’s target demographics.

Proprietary Tracking System: Bloomclicks’ leading intelligence advanced analytics platform provides real-time monitoring and data-driven insights into partners’ traffic, conversion rates, revenue, earnings per click, consumer journey attribution insights, and other relevant metrics. Buckle.com used these insights to adjust commissions, incentivize top-performing partners and empower their marketing decisions.
Optimization of Existing Affiliates
Leveraged Bloomclicks’ technology platform to provide real-time tracking and reporting on affiliate performance. This helped identify top performers, allowing Buckle.com to offer tailored incentives like higher commission rates to drive more conversions.
Media Plan Execution
Implemented a diverse media plan, including increased ad buys, geo-targeted email campaigns, and social media promotions to drive traffic. Set up retargeting ads to re-engage previous visitors and convert them into buyers. Buckle utilizes insights gained from Bloomclicks’ tracking to run personalized campaigns through affiliates, especially focusing on retargeting high-intent users who abandoned their carts or spent significant time on the site without making a purchase.
Content and Contests
Special promotions such as landing page contests and exclusive offers were created to boost engagement and customer acquisition through affiliates.
THE RESULT
The partnership between Buckle.com and Bloomclicks resulted in a noticeable improvement in traffic and sales conversion. Among the 108 new affiliates, top performers generated over 60% of affiliate-driven sales. The affiliate optimization efforts, including adjusting commission rates based on performance, played a key role in incentivizing these affiliates.
